From the installation of network infrastructures in the early years to the creation of data centre solutions and advanced cybersecurity, at fibratel we have been able to anticipate market needs and adapt to an increasingly connected and demanding environment.
Key milestones in our history
- 1992: fibratel is founded in Madrid.
- 1994: We expand our offices and open a new headquarters on Calle Xaudaró (Madrid).
- 1999: Opening in Catalonia and ISO 9000 certification.
- 2002: New headquarters in Andalusia.
- 2004: We obtain ISO 14000 certification.
- 2012: ISO 20000 certification.
- 2016: We develop our first TIER 4 project.
- 2017: We begin our international expansion with offices in Mexico.
- 2019: We launch the cybersecurity unit /fsafe.
- 2021: We obtain ISO 27000 and ISO 45001 certifications.
- 2022: /fdata, the Data Centres unit is created, and we open offices in Portugal.
- 2024: We expand our international certifications (ISO 9001, 27001 and TISAX) and open new offices in Valencia and Argentina.
- 2025: We expand our Andalusia office with a new warehouse.
